Eagle River Grocery Bag Project

​Since the Eagle River Grocery Bag project started in August, we have distributed hundreds of meals to families in need in the community! In partnership with the Children’s Lunchbox program, we are now one of two places in Eagle River that families can go to for help with groceries. Partnerships with the Anchorage Food Bank and the Eagle River Food Bank, as well as donations from individuals and local organizations are making it possible to distribute a wider variety of food every week.  We rely on about 20 volunteers to retrieve, bag, distribute, and sometimes deliver the food.
