We want to invite them back as to be volunteer helpers with a special opportunity to independently study the Awana sixth grade book under our adult leader mentors. Contact Daniel for volunteer information.
Parent involvement: Parents are a vital part of our kids growth both inside and out of Awana. Beyond helping your children with their sections or memory verses, we would like for you to consider volunteering at Awana least once a month. Contact Daniel for volunteer information.
Childcare for Under 3 We will have childcare only for parents who are Awana volunteers or who are attending Bible Study during Awana. Parents must be on church premises to use childcare services.
Awana is divided into three segments: Games: Kids participate in fun and exciting games on the Awana Game Square.Handbook & Small Groups: Kids rehearse, memorize, and study scripture in smaller groups. Large Group: Kids worship and hear a Bible lesson reinforcing the Bible verses they are learning.
We have three divisions of Awana Clubs: Cubbies: Preschool Children (3 to 5 years old) - Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. Preschoolers love Cubbies! At story time each week, preschoolers learn so much about God! Lessons focus on the greatness of God's love, His Word, and His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior. Non-competitive games build excitement and reinforce story time lesson themes.
Sparks: Kindergarten through 2nd Grade - Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. To many children in kindergarten to second grade, Sparks is the highlight of the week! They love their red vests, the exciting games, and spending time with leaders and friends. Sparks is divided into three years, each with a unique rank: HangGlider®, WingRunner® and SkyStormer™. Each year, kids in Sparks: explore the biographies of people of the Bible from a new portion of Scripture, memorize Bible verses, and complete handbook activities.
T&T: 3rd through 5th Grade- The T&T (Truth & Training) curriculum teaches kids the truth of God's Word, trains them to follow Him, and practice His grace. In this 4 year curriculum series, kids will explore the fundamental doctrines of Christianity including: the character and nature of God, the structure and sequence of the Bible, the redemption narrative, and key practices for followers of Jesus. Encouraging kids to engage in biblical and relational discipleship, T&T helps students to grow and develop as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.
