"AWANA" stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

Register
Children age 3 (must be potty trained) through 6th grade are invited to join us at Awana. The online registration cost is $35 per child. $10 off each additional child registered in the same household.

We have several ways that you can get involved with the Awana Ministry.

Childcare for Under 3
We will have childcare only for parents who are Awana volunteers. Parents must be on church premises to use childcare services.
Awana is divided into three segments
Handbook & Small Groups: Kids rehearse, memorize, and study scripture in smaller groups.
Large Group: Kids worship and hear a Bible lesson reinforcing the Bible verses they are learning.
Games: Kids participate in fun and exciting games on the Awana Game Square.
We have three divisions of Awana Clubs
Cubbies: Preschool Children (3 to 5 years old): Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. Preschoolers love Cubbies! At story time each week, preschoolers learn so much about God! Lessons focus on the greatness of God's love, His Word, and His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior. Non-competitive games build excitement and reinforce story time lesson themes.
Sparks: Kindergarten - 2nd Grade: Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. To many children in kindergarten to second grade, Sparks is the highlight of the week! They love their red vests, the exciting games, and spending time with leaders and friends. Sparks is divided into three years, each with a unique rank: HangGlider®, WingRunner® and SkyStormer™. Each year, kids in Sparks: explore the biographies of people of the Bible from a new portion of Scripture, memorize Bible verses, and complete handbook activities.
T&T: 3rd - 6th Grade: The T&T (Truth & Training) curriculum teaches kids the truth of God's Word, trains them to follow Him, and practice His grace. In this 4 year curriculum series, kids will explore the fundamental doctrines of Christianity including: the character and nature of God, the structure and sequence of the Bible, the redemption narrative, and key practices for followers of Jesus. Encouraging kids to engage in biblical and relational discipleship, T&T helps students to grow and develop as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.
