“Let every heart prepare Him room.” — Joy to the World
This Advent season, our church is being invited to do exactly that — to prepare room for Jesus. As we celebrate His coming, we sense that God is calling us not only to make space in our hearts but also to make space in our church for what He is doing.
Over the last few months, we’ve seen remarkable growth. Our services have been full, our kids’ rooms buzzing, and our parking lots stretching to capacity. This is a wonderful problem to have — it’s evidence of life and the Spirit’s work among us.
Why Two Services? Beginning Sunday, November 30, Community Covenant Church will move to two Sunday services: 9:00 AM & 10:45 AM. We believe this shift is more than a scheduling change — it’s an act of faith. We’re preparing Him room — trusting that as we make space, God will fill it with people who need His hope, healing, and wholeness.
What This Means for Our Church Family
Work One, Worship One: Each of us has a role to play. Serve in one service and worship in the other so that every guest experiences a warm welcome and every volunteer finds spiritual refreshment.
Adjust Your Rhythms: Change can stretch us, but it also grows us. Let’s embrace new patterns with grace and joy.
Pray and Invite: Be prayerfully intentional in this season. Ask God whom you can invite to encounter Jesus here.
Our Heart We’re not just adding a service — we’re making room for transformation. We believe God is preparing hearts in our community right now, and as a church, we want to be ready to receive them. Let’s walk into this Advent season together — hearts open, hands ready, and eyes on Jesus. Let every heart prepare Him room.
