The preschool years are so important in the formation of a child's body, mind, and spirit!! Lions & Lambs Preschool is uniquely designed to support parents in nurturing the physical, intellectual, and spiritual formation of their children. In this ministry, children are seen as active learners and are encouraged and challenged to explore the world through hands-on activities. This ministry is designed to be a self-supporting partnership with reduced fees and parent participation. The weekly schedule is as follows:

Four and Five Year Olds  (age 4 by September 1 unless otherwise approved)
         3 day/week preschool ministry 9:15 to 12:00 TWTh
         3 day per week parent opportunities:

  • Tuesday morning women's fellowship and equipping available; not mandatory
  • 1 morning per month program involvement (joining your child in their preschool day)

 

          *Fees: $175.00 per month September through May: $50.00 annual registration

 

Three and Four Year Olds (age 3 by September 1 unless otherwise approved)
          2-3 day/week preschool ministry 9:15 to 12:00 TTh or TWTh
          2-3 day per week parent opportunities:

  • Tuesday morning women's fellowship and equipping available: not mandatory
  • 1 morning per month program involvement (joining your child in their preschool day)

 

          *Fees: $125.00 per month/2 day, $175.00 per month/3 day; $50.00 annual registration

 

Working parents or home school parents are welcome to enroll their 3 to 5 year old children. Their volunteer work can be scheduled helping with special projects.

Nursery care for infants and toddlers up through age 3 is provided on Tuesday mornings for younger siblings when parents are on-site volunteering or attending a study.

Monthly fees cover paid staff positions, basic equipment and art supplies. Families contribute snacks one day a month. A yearly registraion fee of $50.00 ($75.00 maximum per family) will hold spots for the fall program. Fees may change in September of each program year.

Forms and fees can be dropped off at Community Covenant Church any weekday between 9:00am and 5:00pm (696-5229) or mailed to Lions and Lambs Preschool, Community Covenant Church, 16123 Artillery Road, Eagle River, AK 99577 attn: Ann Murphy.
