Children's Ministries
Our Mission
Our mission is to nurture each unique child in growing a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ and to support and equip families in deepening their faith. We are blessed to partner with families in spiritual formation of their children!!
At Community Covenant we seek:
- To have friendly teams and exciting learning experiences that help children feel welcome, valued, and comfortable to explore
- To help children connect by building relationships with Jesus Christ, with one another, and with youth and adult mentors.
- To listen, to pray, to wrestle with truth, and to seek answers to hard questions.
- To encourage children to be transformed in their hearts and minds through a solid faith and values based on the Word of God.
- To celebrate God's goodness with joy!
Kids On The Rock
Join us for KIDS ON THE ROCK on Sundays!! During each of our 3 Sunday services children ages three through 6th grade are dismissed for their own time of learning and community. Sundays are a great time for children to explore what it means to know Jesus! Several times a year the KIDS ON THE ROCK Worship Team leads a large group time of worship, reflection, and learning.
Kids' Club
Wednesday nights 6:00 to 8:00 pm from September through April with a holiday break. At KIDS' CLUB children ages four through fourth grade run, talk, create, serve, absorb God's Word and meet new friends.
Nursery (infants through age 3) is available for volunteers.
Club 56
The place for fifth and sixth graders from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday nights. Fun, fellowship, service and intense faith conversations make this a safe place to explore as well as to figure out how to live 'faith-fully'!
Lions & Lambs Preschool
A unique preschool partnership that serves young children and their families. Lions & Lambs includes options for 3-5 year olds to engage in a 2 day or 3 day per week preschool experience!!

Nursery
Always provided during Sunday morning worship gatherings for infants and toddlers through age 2 years and during Sunday evening worship gathering through age 3 years. Each nursery has a hired adult staff worker and adult and teen volunteers. Nursery is provided for some other church events, but it is best to check to find out for sure for these other events. If you have not already done so, please register your child through our Online Nursery Enrollment Form.
Community Covenant Homeschoolers
Comprised of families that consider Community Covenant their church home and are homeschooling. Our purpose is to provide fellowship and ministry opportunities for these families. Click here for more information.
American Heritage Girls
American Heritage Girls is a Christian Scouting Ministry for girls, ages 5 through 18 that meets every Tuesday night at Community Covenant Church. For more information, go to American Heritage Girls at CCC.
