Kids On The Rock

This is the Sunday ministry for children ages 3 through 6th grade.  Come explore, connect, transform and celebrate with us!!  Flexible schedules, opportunities to team with others, and large doses of joy in the Lord!  Some of the specific ways for youth and adults to serve:

  • Join a team as a leader or assistant.  Flexible scheduling!
  • Come alongside a special needs child
  • Lend your talents in storytelling or drama
  • Take photos or create a video
  • Create a mission project display

Kids' Club

This is the Wednesday evening ministry to kids September through April for ages 5 through 4th grade.  Join this team and experience VBS-style every week from 6 to 8pm!  Make deep connections by:

  • Lead a small group of 8-10 kids
  • Be the storyteller or worship leader once a month
  • Prepare crafts or snacks
  • Lead games
  • Run the "Kids' Store" for memory verse fun
  • Pray with the kids

Club 56

This is the Wednesday evening ministry for 5th and 6th graders, September through April, 6 to 8pm.  Jump in and help our kids grow and serve:

  • Lead a study
  • Lead a small group and listen to kids
  • Come alongside kids in prayer
  • Create a one-time special event or outing

Vacation Bible School

This is the Summer ministry for children ages 4 through 6th grade--inviting visitors, visitors, visitors!  There are so many ways to connect:

  •  Spend three evenings with a small group during VBS
  • Use your creativity to decorate or to create a Bible site
  • Join a snack, craft, games or preschool team for VBS

Nursery

Provided during Sunday morning worship services for infants and toddlers through ages 2 years and Sunday evening service through age 3 years.  Each nursery has a hired adult staff worker and adult and teen volunteers.  The volunteers come from the congregation and it is preferred that they have attended Community Covenant for at least six months before joining this ministry.  Parents with children in the nursery are encouraged to volunteer as well as other interested adults and teens.  Community Covenant Church nurseries are a mission field for those who are called to serve...Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Kids On The Rock Worship

Simple Truths, Simply Said.  This is a monthly worship ministry September through May, at all three services and a HUGE part of the excitement at VBS!  Bring kids close to God:

  • Play your instrument
  • Sing
  • Lead hand motions
  • Give worship messages
  • Pray with the children
