Alaska Christian College

ACC is a one-year Bible college in Soldotna who mission is to prepare young people for whole-life discipleship through Biblical teaching, Christian formation, and service through missions.  Join a team to help do short construction projects or to pray with the students.  Go to the ACC website for more information.

Covenant Bible Camp

Covenant Bible Camp in Unalakleet hosts one-week camps for kids of all ages during the summers.  Consider serving as a counselor, camp assistant or work in the kitchen. 

Evangelical Covenant Church of Alaska(ECCAK)

ECCAK is the regional office for the Evangelical Covenant Church and provides support for the Covenant ministries throughout Alaska.  Consider helping them with office projects or special projects out in the villages.  Go to the ECCAK website for more information.

Covenant Youth of Alaska(CYAK)

Covenant Youth of Alaska works to develop ministry and help build the next generation of Christian leaders in Alaska. They help facilitate ministry in Western Alaska and help run Covenant Bible Camp in Unalakleet, AK.  Go to the CYAK website for more information.

Elim Covenant Church

We have begun a partnership with the Elim Covenant Church in Elim, AK to learn together and share resources in order to better love and serve our respective communities.

KICY Radio in Nome

KICY Radio in Nome broadcasts the message of Christ across Western Alaska and into the Russian Far East through Christian music and Biblical teaching.  Join short-term teams to visit KICY for specific on-site projects.  Go to the KICY Radio website for more information.

Royal Family Kids Camp(RFKC)

Each June, RFKC runs a one-week camp for Alaskan kids ages 7-11 who have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned.  The mission is to create positive memories for these kids in the love of Jesus Christ...to give them a one-week oasis where they are showered with love.  Go to the Royal Family Kids Camp-Anchorage website for more information.

 

 

Families We Support in Alaska

We support several families and individuals working throughout Alaska to share the love of Jesus Christ and participate in God's mission.

Scott & Krista Pitsch

Scott and Krista Pistch serve on staff at Alaska Christian College in Soldotna, Alaska.  Scott is the Vice President of Student Services and Krista is the Director of Financial Aid.  They have lived and served at ACC since 2006.  Before that, they were part of the Community Covenant Church family while Krista served as youth pastor.  Scott then served three years as pastor of NewSong Covenant Church in Anchorage.

 

Sean & Shannon Hoffbeck

Sean serves on Director of Residential Life at Alaska Christian College in Soldotna, Alaska.  Sean has been on staff at ACC since 2007.  Sean pretty much grew up in the youth group at Community Covenant Church as he and his family were part of CCC for many years.  After graduating from Chugiak High School and attending Moody Bible Institute in Illinois, Sean returned to Alaska with his wife Shannon to begin serving at ACC.

 

John Hege

John Hege serves with Campus Christian Fellowship(CCF) in Fairbanks, helping connect Alaska's rural college students at University of Alaska Fairbanks with a Christ-centered community.  John has been doing youth ministry for 24 year, and in Alaska for 17 years.  He has served in Shaktoolik as a pastor working with the youth and now as the Director of the Campus Christian Fellowship ministry.  He also serves as the Associate Pastor at Community Covenant Church of Fairbanks.  He and his wife, Wendy, have 4 children.  For more information, go to the CCF website.

 

Mark Hill

Mark serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Amundsen Educational Center in Soldotna.  He is in his 17th year of ministry as a pastor with the Covenant Church of Alaska, and also holds an MBA degree from North Park University.  He served on the development team of Alaska Christian College in Soldotna, as the program director of KICY radio in Nome, and was a youth pastor with Covenant Youth of Alaska. Ross and Ruth McElwee

Ross and Ruth and their family live and serve in White Mountain, Alaska where Ross is the pastor of the White Mountain Covenant Church.
