Ministries

We’re getting a good taste of many. We are  enjoying working with the youth and talking with people on the streets.

WHAT WE WERE LACKING, WE'VE NOW ACQUIRED!

Greetings and Happy August! I'm typing as we drive through Latvia to cross the Estonian border. We're in our 3rd full week of ministry. We've had great opportunities to teach, preach, leade worship (the girls sang with me for the first time and did beautifully!), lead games, do prayer ministry and such. Now we are heading with our team of 10 to Vandra, a small village in Estonia for a week. Please pray for a great week!

I want to encourage you in this newsletter by giving you a glimpse of how God directs us to the people He wants to love on. Last week we were training for this mission trip and a small group of leaders, Thad, and I went on a "treasure hunt". We prayed and asked God for specifics on who He wanted us to approach. The hightlight of our 90 minutes in downtown Skien was looking for someone fitting these clues: head, tumor, a name with "Ma" at the beginning. God brought my attention to little Michael. He's about 7 and was playing in the waterfall. Michael has a huge tumor across his jaw, probably weighing 1-1/2 pounds. I approached his mom, told her who I was and that I'd noticed her son. Could I pray for him? Yes. Michael did have a tumor, in his head. He's had many operations and goes to Boston in the fall for another. His mother's name began with the letters "Ma". She was not a believer, but allowed me to pray for her and her son. My parting words were to tell her that God loves her enough to tell us these clues and have our paths cross. God is so good! This boosted our faith and I hope it does yours.

Jensen's health is great-thanks for praying. Please pray for health and divine encounters.
