The Heagy Family, Norway

The Heagy Family is currently serving with YWAM (Youth with a Mission) in Norway.  They anticipate continuing there through March 2012 caring for and shepherding YWAM Staff in that area.  Click the image to the right to read their current update from the field.

 

Cambodia Partnership

Monterrey, MX Partnership

We support Lisandro and Patricia Restrepo as they serve in Monterrey, Mexico.  Their primary mission is to share the love of Jesus through practical ministries to families (parenting, marriage, special-needs support, etc.).  We anticipate a team traveling to Monterrey once a year to work on specific projects.  Go to the Family Development Foundation website for more information.

 

East Asia Partnership

We have developed a relationship with an English language and computer training center for college-aged students in Asia.  The mission is to help provide tangible job skills and to relationally share the love of Jesus Christ as students and staff are immersed in life together over a two-year period.  We prayerfully and financially support a family who runs the school.  Opportunities for you include:

  • Teaching short-term classes (from a few weeks up to a few months)
  • Join their staff for one to two years
  • Participate in their Summer English Camp for a month

 

John and Letha Kerl, France

John and Letha Kerl serve with Covenant World Mission(CWM) in Lyon, France working to coordinate the missional activity of CWM in Europe.  This includes care, support and equipping for other individuals and families serving in Europe and development of new misisonal partnerships for the purpose of sharing the love of Jesus Christ in that region of the world.

 

Covenant World Relief

Covenant World Relief(CWR) is a humanitarian aid ministry with a sixty-year history that provides immediate response to disaster and human suffering.  CWR collaborates with partners around the world to provide relief, rehabilitation and transformational development.  These partnerships empower local ministries, increase local involvement, reduce overhead and facilitate immediate response in the face of disaster.  The CWR charge is to love, serve and work together with the poor, the powerless, and the marginalized.  Go to the CWR Website for more information.

 

Compassion International

Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.  Today, Compassion helps more than 1 million children in 26 countries.  By sponsoring a child in need, you are helping to break the cycle of poverty and bring them hope.  Go to the Compassion website for more information.

 

Operation Christmas Child

We are privileged to support the work of Samaritan's Purse each year through Operation Christmas Child, giving people the opportunity to provide hope for a child through the simple act of packing a shoebox full of gifts for Christmas.  National Collection Week is November 14-20, 2011.  Boxes can be dropped off at Community Covenant Church during this period of time.  Go to the Operation Christmas Child website for more information.
